"well i sure as hell hope we can do him good..." ~ jmc

...the shelves of the recorder have some songs and bits i have taken to mixing down today. here's a pretty finished version of justin currie's (del amitri) "leave" from the Del's final album "Can You Do Me Good?"

...hours and time have gone by and i am quite certain i have even knocked a few brain cells out from Draggon IPA's since then but i am going to make a feeble attempt at who played what on this record below.

"leave"

craig "c-dub" wagner : thumply bass, synth parts, and he concocted our drum loop for this as well. and a visit with me @ the 2:23 mark which simply had to make the mix.

cassie van gelder " : voice, key workings (lowery organ with leslie, italian micro-organ with Super Trem pedal on so she could change the warble, and some shimmery lowery organ on the verses)

chirs callahan : electric guitars (the funky rhythm and finely, agitatedly awesome solo, G&L Srat & the 74' Les Paul Chris?? Hmmmm)

jmc : voice, rhythm acoustic guitar, and a lead nylon acoustic. and a visit with c-dub caught in the mix @ the 2:23 mark, and acoustic mandolin in the fade.

* mixed/adoringly hack mastered/and deleted here today but the session were when and whom ducked by for a visit and tinkerage here @ homespun.

sound as ever,

~ jmc
